Client manager

The role, in a nutshell

Sometimes working in conjunction with a client director, sometimes running projects and accounts of your own, you’ll work with the wider team, to manage all day-to-day aspects of a number of client accounts, varying in size.

A bit about what we’re like

We’re a tight-knit team and it’s often all hands on deck, so all our people need to have a rounded approach. For client services that means having both great project management and people skills, and being genuinely interested in the strategy and creative approach behind the work. We like people who are energetic, have a can-do attitude and like managing client accounts from A-Z.

What we need and the role in more detail

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience working across both brand and broader communications and implementation projects
  • A good all-rounder who has experience running projects from start to finish. So someone who will be confident taking briefs, writing proposals, liaising with our clients, writing meeting notes and managing the complete project
  • Someone who’s:
    • highly organised and a great project manager, has a good eye for detail and is meticulous – so good both at proof-reading and being all over the finances and budget management
    • is articulate, an effective communicator and a good ‘people person’
    • passionate about working in the creative industry and genuinely enjoys what we do
    • a self-starter who will be both:
      • happy working with a more senior client director on accounts (and is keen to learn and grow their experience)
      • and happy to use their initiative and run smaller accounts/projects on their own (with guidance where necessary)
    • Ideally has a good B2B background
