Considering future trends for 2025 in brand, employer brand and marketing

Thursday

November

Afternoon session 17.00

The rapid pace of change might be cliché, but in our world, the impact of it is a tangible reality – and it’s affecting everything we do, bringing challenges, opportunities and changes, in equal measure. The discussion wouldn’t be complete without referencing AI, but how and where you can (and should!) you use it, and what does it mean for the art of design and writing? Moving brands and sonic branding are no longer the sole preserve of consumer brands, but how can B2B ensure its use is additive, rather than gratuitous? Social media channels are ever-morphing, so how do you navigate them? In digital and media planning, how can tech advances enhance your ability to ensure your content gets in front of exactly who needs to see it? In the seemingly dry world of type design, what are the advances that mean type can respond to its environment more effectively and be engaged with more inclusively? And finally, do all these advances mean the client/agency model is dead and you can do it all yourself?

Rebecca Price, Strategy Partner and John Paul Sykes, Creative Director, look forward to reflecting on these trends and more, and debating with you about what these might mean for the year ahead.

In this by-invitation and in-person only Frank Discussion, we’re also being joined by a special guest speaker, Rob Otty, Co-founder and CEO of strategic advisory consultancy, Orellium. Rob, a seasoned business leader and former legal sector CEO, COO and CFO, provides a direct, pragmatic and collaborative view on routes to success. Rob will be book-ending the discussion with a vignette of businesses’ resistance to change and the meaningful opportunities for growth and success, if they can overcome that.
